Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is for all ages - let’s give you and your child the tools to succeed!

What is neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is like exercise for the brain, similar to how going to the gym strengthens your body. It is a gentle, non-invasive way to help your brain function at its best. By providing real-time feedback on your brain activity, it helps your brain learn how to move into a more balanced and calm state. With regular training, many people experience improvements in focus, mood, sleep, and emotional regulation without the use of medication.

Neurofeedback Training

Custom Fit To You

Every brain is unique, so your neurofeedback training plan is tailored to your specific goals, symptoms, and progress. It is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Permanent

Neurofeedback helps the brain learn new, healthier patterns that can lead to lasting change rather than just temporary relief.

Drug Free

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, medication-free approach that supports your brain’s natural ability to self-regulate and heal.

What is a session like?

Small sensors are gently placed on your head to monitor brain activity. While you relax and watch a movie or play a game, your brain receives feedback that helps it learn and adjust. Over time, this process can lead to improved symptoms and better self-regulation.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM NEUROFEEDBACK TRAINING

Your Free Consultation

We start with a free 15-minute phone call. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what you are hoping to address, and get a sense of whether neurofeedback is a good fit for you. There is no pressure and no commitment required.

Before Your Session

Once you decide to move forward, you will complete intake paperwork electronically before we meet. This helps us make the most of our time together from the very start.

Your First Session

Your first session is your intake appointment. We sit down together to talk through your history, symptoms, and goals in depth. This conversation becomes the baseline we work from throughout your entire training plan. Getting this foundation right is what allows the neurofeedback training to be truly personalized to you.

Your Second Session

This is where neurofeedback training begins. Small sensors are placed on your scalp to monitor your brain's electrical activity. Nothing goes into the brain. You watch a movie while your brain receives gentle real-time feedback. Most people find it deeply relaxing. Sessions are 45 minutes.

Sessions 2-5

The early training sessions are about calibrating the work to your brain and your goals. Some people notice shifts quickly, such as better sleep, a quieter mind, or feeling more settled. Others notice gradual changes over several weeks. Both are completely normal. I check in with you at every session to track how you are responding and adjust the training as needed.

Sessions 5-20

This is where most clients begin to experience more consistent and meaningful change. Focus improves. Anxiety quiets. Sleep deepens. Emotional reactions feel less overwhelming. The changes build on each other session by session.

Sessions 20 and Beyond

For many clients, 20 to 40 sessions produces lasting results that continue well after training ends. Because the brain has learned new patterns rather than been chemically altered, the improvements tend to hold. Some clients choose periodic maintenance sessions. Others finish their plan and do not need to return.

Investment

Neurofeedback is a cash-pay service. Sessions are priced individually and I am happy to discuss what a realistic plan looks like for your specific goals during your free consultation.

Neurofeedback Mirror

Just like you would fix something stuck in your teeth after looking in the mirror, neurofeedback acts as a mirror for your brain. It allows the brain to “see” what it’s doing in real time and begin making adjustments toward healthier patterns. Over the course of 20 to 40 sessions, many clients experience meaningful changes in focus, mood, and emotional regulation. Neurofeedback is gentle, non-invasive, and often described as a calming experience. At each session, we review how you’ve been feeling so we can adjust the training to support your progress.

It’s a collaborative process that helps your brain learn to function with more balance and ease.
